Uphill skiing is the newest rage in Beppu

I am sorry I was not able to get a picture of this, but in my usual ride to work (a 400m climb up a hill) by bike, I was joined today by a student from Minnesota named Joe who actually rollerbladed up! He had ski poles and flew up at a pretty quick clip, I had to push myself to keep up!

This goes to show that there are always new things to push yourselves towards. I'll try to grab a picture of this crazy guy next time!

I am going on a business trip to Korea and China from Friday. I hope to document the trip and give you all an idea of what it's like to work on the road!
